Long before the bride and groom leave on their honeymoon, the paperwork needed to recognize the new alliance might need to be updated. Here are some accounts you might want to take care of adding names to or changing:

• bank accounts

• credit cards

• doctor / dental records

• auto registration

• driver’s license

• insurance policies

• memberships

• voter registration

• Post Office boxes

 

If the woman changes her name, she also needs to change these records:

• Social Security

• Passport

• credit rating

• employment records
