And what about the kids? Bring them along!
And what about wanting to be free of the stress of it all?
And how do you keep him on track?
And do I have to do all those thank you notes?
Anyone have any marriage advice?
but it's all about enjoying it with the ones you love. Bring your questions and we'll see you at the Expo.
What time should I get there? We know you're excited but the doors don't open until noon. But don't worry - there are so many vendors with so many samples and prizes, you won't be disappointed even if you get there at 4 p.m. The show's from 12 - 5 p.m.
How much is it to get in? For brides, it's free if you register. For everyone else, it's $6.45 in advance, bought online in the same place you get your free bride's ticket, and $10 at the door. Kids 12 and younger get in free.
Do groom's pay? Yes.
How many freebies are there? Most vendors have things they're given out or prizes that you can register to win. So instead of having one chance to win one big prize, you've got dozens of chances throughout the day.
What about other shows - why come to this one? There are so many vendors here that you can do a lot of your shopping in one afternoon. Instead of driving all over town to try different cakes, for example, sample four or five in one afternoon, then move on to looking at dress designs. You might not be able to do all your shopping, but you'll have a great start at it.
Is there anything else going on during the day? We'll have seminars on expert tips for getting married, mariachis, 2 fashion shows (at 2 and 4 p.m.), drawings, games, golf, cigar rolling, the game on a wide screen, music and fun - oh, and then there's the Expo.
Who should I bring with me? Anyone who's helping you make decisions or whose opinion you want.
What are the times? 12 - 5 p.m. Date? Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012
Is there anything for my fiance to do while we're there? We've got the games going on in the Groom's Room, plus golf and golf giveaways and other prizes - just for the guys. Bring him along and he can hang out with the guys while you shop, then you can show him what you're thinking when you've had a chance to go through it all on your own.
How should I dress? It's up to you - you'll see casual to dressy casual. Come as you like - there's a lot to see and do so be comfortable.
Are kids allowed? You bet and kids under 12 get in free - this is a family event, after all!
