FAQs - summer bridal event in Albuquerque

When is a good time to be there? We know you're excited but the doors don't open until noon. But don't worry - there are so many vendors with so many samples and prizes, you won't be disappointed even if you get there at 3 p.m. Our show's from 12 - 5 p.m. at Marriott Pyramid North, just off I-25 in Albuquerque.

How much is it to get in? You can get discounted tickets here online, just go back a page and you'll see the tickets. They're $6 in advance and $10 the day of the Expo. But you'll get enough gifts to more than make up for the ticket costs, including a yearlong subscription to Brides and a customized gift card when you come to the Expo.

How many freebies are there? Most vendors have things they're given out or prizes that you can register to win. You have dozens of chances to win prizes all during the day. 

Also, bring preprinted labels. There are lots of things to register for and it’ll help speed up that process. And tell the people coming with you to do the same – there are plenty of things they can register for too.

What about businesses contacting me after the show? We do give out your name and info to the wedding vendors who come to the show so that they can follow up with you after. Some do, most don’t. You’ll get a couple of phone calls and emails that you can opt out of if you’re not interested. If you registered for the show and can’t come, this is a great way to get caught up on some offers you might have missed. Also, many send out helpful info so that even if you’re not interested in their business, you might like the info. Please contact us if you have any questions.


How do we get there? The show is at the Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid North at 515 San Francisco Road NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109 / 505-821-3333 / marriott.com

Is there anything else going on during the day? We'll have expert with tips for getting married, two fashion shows (at 2 and 4 p.m.), drawings, games, music and fun - oh, and then there's the Expo.

Who should I bring with me? Anyone who's helping you make decisions or whose opinion you want.

What are the times? It's from 12 - 5 p.m.

Can I make arrangements for me or someone with me who has a disability to come for the Expo?  Definitely! We want everyone involved to be there! Just let us know 14 days in advance of the show to make accommodations under the Americans With Disabilities Act so we can make sure you get what you need. 

Is there anything for my fiancé to do while we're there? Bring him along and he can hang out with you or wander around the hotel & come back so you can show him what you’re thinking about when you've had a chance to go through it all on your own. But he’s welcome to come and he’ll have fun too.

How should I dress? It's up to you - you'll see casual to dressy casual. Come as you like - there's a lot to see and do so be comfortable. But wear comfortable shoes so that you can make it around to all the booths and get to see what all the wedding pros are offering.

Are kids allowed? You bet - this is a family event, after all! However, we do not allow strollers on the ballroom floor! You can leave them in the car or check them with the hotel. 

What about same-sex couples? We include everyone! So come to the party!

What experts are going to be there? Looking for a baker for a special cake? Maybe your engagement photos? We've got all the best pros in the area, so why run all over town making appointments when you can see them first at the Expo?
